Summerlin- Today I visited the Golden Knights practice facility site that is still under construction in Downtown Summerlin.
This is where the team will be spending their training camp program to get themselves prepared before they hit the ice for their inaugural season.
The facility continues to rise from the ground as construction crews work tirelessly in putting the building together.
This view shows the west end of the building which faces Red Rock Casino looking good with portion of the facade taking shape.
The south side of the facility shows a construction worker on a lift working on an area on the second floor that supports the buildings rooftop.
Facing the Las Vegas Strip crews worked on a hooking up steel beam on a construction forklift to be attached to the buildings skeletal structure.
This view faces W. Charleston Blvd. You can see right thru the heart of the building.
A special shot I took that gives you a sneak peek to where the Golden Knights designated practice rink is located.
Here are the rest of the exterior shots I took from today’s site visit.
Since the ground breaking that took place last fall the facility is looking more and more alive for the Summerlin/Las Vegas community. This is something that they can feel proud of.
Hopefully by next month the facility will look a whole lot different. This is just one more step closer to completion.
