VEGAS – March 14, 2017 – Vegas Golden Knights General Manager George McPhee announced today, March 14, that the team has hired Chris Davidson-Adams as the club’s first ever Head Equipment Manager. In this role, Davidson-Adams will be responsible for all of the Golden Knights player equipment, skate sharpening, transport, purchasing and inventory and will oversee the Golden Knights equipment staff. Davidson-Adams has also been working closely with Golden Knights Senior Vice President Murray Craven since October, 2016 in overseeing the development and construction of the Golden Knights practice facility currently being built in the Summerlin section of Las Vegas.

Davidson-Adams has worked more than 1000 games as a professional hockey equipment manager over a span of 21 seasons. During those 21 seasons he has worked for six different clubs, including the Houston Aeros (IHL), Grand Rapids Griffins (IHL/AHL), Muskegon Fury (UHL), Dallas Stars (NHL), Worcester Sharks (AHL) and San Jose Barracuda (AHL). Davidson-Adams played an instrumental role in the recent relocation of the San Jose Sharks AHL affiliate from Worcester, MA to San Jose, CA.

He was selected to work the 2007 NHL All-Star Game and was the head equipment manager for the 2003 UHL All-Star Game. He is also a member of the Society of Professional Hockey Equipment Managers.

Born in Ispheming, Michigan and a native of Grandville, Michigan, Chris and his wife Kelly reside in Summerlin with their dog, Sadie.
