Today Golden Knights Team President Kerry Bubolz announced that they have hired Jonny Greco as Vice President of Events and Entertainment. In his new posting with the organization Greco will lead the Golden Knights with their in game presentation at all home games at T-Mobile Arena.

In addition those duties he will also be in charge with in game production as well as fan interaction segments during each home game. On April 15 Greco will officially join the Golden Knights.

Golden Knights President Kerry Bubolz highlighted the importance with bringing in Greco into the fold with the franchise.

“Las Vegas is the entertainment capital of the world,” said Vegas Golden Knights President Kerry Bubolz.

Bubolz also complimented what Greco brings with him in and the amount of experience that he acquired once he begins he posting with the Golden Knights.

“We recognize and embrace the expectations that come along with playing our games here from a performance perspective. Jonny possesses a unique background that spans multiple professional teams, leagues and sports entertainment entities. His creative vision will help us produce exceptional in-game presentation and entertainment, which will create memorable and enjoyable experiences for our fans.” Kerry Bubolz

Before being hired by Vegas Greco has spent the last 5 years with the Sports & Entertainment Conglomerate WWE. Their held the position as the companies Senior Director and Live Event Producer for their worldwide events.

He also was a member of their creative team where he made significant contributions to enhance their live event experiences for the fans of the WWE.

Greco also worked for the NBA’s Cleveland Cavaliers during 2004-2011 season. There he was the franchises Director of Video Production. During his stint with the Cavaliers Greco and along with his production department ended up capturing four regional Emmy Awards. Those awards were for his excellent work on the Cavaliers Video Introduction during the (2006, 2009, 2010) season and for their Headshot Package of the (2007) campaign.

Bringing with him the Golden Knights organization, Greco has had the opportunity in working with 4 different sports entities that have been awarded the Golden Martix Award. It’s an award given on an annual basis which commemorates a high honor in excellence in both large screen video and matrix display.

This award is handed out from the Information Display and Entertainment Association (IDEA). His accolades from achieving the Golden Matrix Award were highlighted by the following, Best In-Game Feature (editor, 2003), Best Mascot Video (producer/shooter, 2005) and Best Overall Video Display (director/producer/editor, 2007 and 2008).

Greco other career highlights include holding both Producer and Director position at VWSE Productions. During his time with VWSE Productions Greco worked on numerous projects in collaboration with National Football League for their HOF Weekend events as well as All-Star Weekends for the NBA and both 2002 and 2010 Winter Olympics that took place in Salt Lake City, USA and Vancouver, BC, Canada respectively.

During the 2002-2003 and 2003-2004 season he worked from the young NHL franchise with Columbus Blue Jackets. There he held the posting of teams Manager of Video Production. While with Columbus he captured his first professional career award by ESPN in 2004 for  “#1 Stadium Experience in all of sports”.

After graduating from Full Sail University Greco kicked off his illustrious career in professional sports starting out with the Florida Marlins in the 1999 season as the clubs Producer/Editor.

A Graduate of Full Sail University Greco earned a Associates degree in Film and Video. He originally hails from upstate New York in a small town called Oneonta which is north of New York City.

Also joining the Golden Knights family is his wife Amanda and his two kids Goldie (6) and Marlon (4)
