Well it apparently looks like just another day at the office for Vegas Golden Knights forward Vadim Shipachyov as he recorded 2 goals against Team Germany at the 2017 IIHF World Championship tournament.
Previously Shipachyov registered 4 power play assists in his teams 10-1 victory over Team Italy. One of those assists came on Evgeni Dadonov‘s goal.
His first goal of the game his linemates Dadonov and Artemi Panarin at the 1:04 of the opening period. This gave Shipachyov his first goal in the tournament as he gave his team the early 1 goal lead.
Later in the 1st period Shipachyov scored his 2nd goal of the game that came on the power play to extend Russia’s lead over Germany to a 2-0 advantage.
Shipachyov’s team would eventually win the game by 6-3 score.
With his two goals scored in today’s matchup against the German’s Shipachyov currently sits in 5th place in the overall points department of the tournament.
His linemate Panarin leads the pack at 9 points while fellow teammate Nikita Kucherov also has 6 points in the tournament and is also shares the 5th spot with Shipachyov.

Team Russia is currently in 1st place in Group A in the tournament with a 2-0-1 record at 8 points.
They will take on Team Denmark on Thursday May 11. The Den’s are sitting at the bottom of the pack with 2 losses in the tournament with no points in the standings to their credit.
