Today it’s been reported by Eater Las Vegas Staff Writer Bradley Martin that new details have emerged regarding the Official Golden Knights restaurant at their Summerlin Practice Facility.

According to their report, they have indicated the restaurant will sit on the second floor of the facility that overlooks both sheets of ice.

When the plans were rolled out initially the overall size of the restaurant was going to be 9,000 square feet.

However, new information is being released that it will be much smaller in the 6,000 to 7,000 square range of space. Eater Las Vegas has made mention that the project is scheduled to be very soon.

The documentation for the buildout of the Summerlin restaurant does not identify where the official eating establishment will rest inside the facility they are, however, calling the proposed name GRG Restaurant.

Gillett Construction who is General Contractor that has an amazing staff of workers I might add that have been continuing working hard in getting the Golden Knights practice facility have been awarded the project.

It’s been stated that cost of the project is in the ballpark range of $1.125 million.

For Gillett Construction, other Vegas-based projects that they have done in the past are The Oyster Bar at Stations Casino property The Orleans, Bravo! Cucina Italiana which is located at Galleria Mall along two eatery’s at the Palms, The Buffet and Simon Restaurant.

To Golden Knights fans, particularly parents who are watching their kids practice will get to enjoy a great meal, drinks, and atmosphere in being among fellows to talk all things related to hockey and other community topics.

If everything goes well with the construction of the restaurant it could be open just in time for the first ever training camp in team history.
