This Saturday we have been seeing a ton of activity going on within the NHL world as we get closer to the big day in Las Vegas.
Moments ago up in Winnipeg defenseman Tobias Enstrom made it official that he will be waiving his No-Movement-Clause for the NHL Expansion Draft.
Since being in the NHL, Enstrom has played for two franchises one of them as an expansion team in Atlanta with the Thrashers. So for Toby, he has experience with expansion.
He was originally selected by Atlanta in 2003 NHL Entry Draft in the 8th round at 239th overall. The blueliner played 4 seasons with the Thrashers before the franchise moved up to Winnipeg that became the new Jets franchise. There he has played in 5 campaigns.

More news of day also became noticeable to the hockey world that according to TSN’s Resident Hockey Insider Pierre LeBrun he believes that Vegas has acquired 3 more 1st round picks as part of deals made.
Stockpiling picks by McPhee is important to the Vegas franchise for when they start filling their prospect pool in their farm system. So far their only two prospects are Reid Duke and Tomas Hyka who are on 2-way deals with the hockey club.
Another thing that LeBrun made mentioned of is Vegas potentially taking Marian Gaborik at the Expansion Draft on Wednesday.
For McPhee, he has seen Gaborik play a great deal as Gabby played for the New York Rangers organization when they would visit Washington. Gaborik played the Blueshirts during the 2009 thru 2013 season before he got dealt to Columbus in the 2013 trade-deadline.

Could Minnesota Wild forward Jason Zucker be coming home to play in his hometown? TSN’s Senior Hockey Reporter Frank Seravalli believes that Zucker would fit for the Golden Knights.
To expand on what Seravalli said, TSN’s Resident Hockey Insider Bob MacKenzie reported earlier that if McPhee stays away from the Wild’s defensive group of players that he would be wise to select a forward as they are deep in that area.
