Las Vegas–Yesterday before the Vegas Golden Knights opened their Development Camp, 44 participating prospects spent their morning at Catholic Charities helping out those in need.

One of the important aspects of a hockey player’s life is the opportunity to participate in community outreach events like the one with Catholic Charities.

It’s an uplifting experience for them because it gives each of a chance to give back.

In any professional players life, they become a community ambassador with the chance to impact another person’s life in a positive way.

For the Golden Knights, they split the prospects up in two separate groups. Each group of players was broken up into 22 members.

Group 1 Captains were Cody Glass and Keegan Kolesar

Group 2 Captain Alex Tuch and Jake Bischoff

Golden Knights players were assisted by approx 100 community volunteers who came to show their support in providing a helping hand to those who are less fortunate.
