Las Vegas–General Manager George McPhee and the Vegas Golden Knights organization have signed forward Oscar Lindberg to a 2-year deal.

Lindberg was acquired by the Golden Knights during last weeks Vegas Draft in the 3rd round of selections at 22nd overall by McPhee.

His new 2-year deal is being reported by the organization at an AAV of $1.7 mil. Lindberg just completed his last contract with the New York Rangers that had an AAV of $650 per season that started back in the 2015-16 season.

So his new deal with Vegas is a significant pay increase for him going into the upcoming season with the Golden Knights.

According to our friends at, Lindberg’s contract with Vegas does not have any NTC’s an NMC’s attached to it.

During his last 3 seasons with the New York Rangers organization, Lindberg recorded 21 goals, added 27 assists for 48 points in a span of 134 games with the Blueshirts.

He also skated with their AHL affiliate Hartford Wolfpack for 150 games and scored 46 goals, 54 assists for 100 points.

Lindberg was originally drafted by the Arizona Coyotes back in 2010 in the 2nd round at 57th overall.
