Las Vegas–It’s been reported by Jesse Granger with the Las Vegas Sun that the Vegas Golden Knights and outgoing Chief Marketing Officer Nehme Abouzeid have parted ways.
What a way to start off the news week with a major department head of the Golden Knights leaving the organization before his 8th month anniversary with the team.
Nehme was hired on with the organization last year in November after spending the last 3 years previously working with The Wynn Las Vegas.
Abouzeid had this to say with his parting words to fans on Facebook today.
“Pro hockey effectively launched in Vegas. City excited. Team drafted. Brand rolled out. Flagship store opened. Fan base engaged and growing. Looking forward to the next journey helping other companies and brands do the same. Look for my own firm launching soon in Vegas.” Said Abouzeid
I had the pleasure of interviewing Nehme during “The Armory” unveil that took place last month.
Golden Knights Team President Kerry Bubolz provided these words for the outgoing CMO Abouzeid.
“Nehme left the Golden Knights having helped us reach many milestones. We wish him the utmost success in his future endeavors.” Bubolz said.
