Las Vegas–With their inaugural season just weeks away television service provider in the Vegas market CenturyLink and AT&T SportsNet reach a deal that Vegas Golden Knights fans in the community will be able to watch the game from the comfort of their homes.
This good news comes thanks to Steve Carp of the Las Vegas Review who was the 1st to report this today.
CenturyLink will be adding AT&T SportsNet Rocky Mountain to it’s channel lineup on September 15 which is 2 days before the Golden Knights 1st ever preseason game against the Vancouver Canucks.
“We are focused on providing Prism TV subscribers with the best entertainment choices, so it was very important to us to ensure that Vegas Golden Knights hockey and Mountain West Conference collegiate sports were part of the channel lineup for our Nevada Subscribers,” said Jeremy Ferkin, CenturyLink vice president for operations in Nevada. Per Steve Carp
AT&T SportsNet Rocky Mountain will be broadcasting 77 of the 82 games that the Golden Knights this season, NBCSN/NBC will air the other 5 games including their home opener on October 10.
In regards to Cox Cable subscribers, a deal between Cox Communications and AT&T Communications is still being worked out with talks ongoing. The Golden Knights along with Team Owner Bill Foley remain optimistic that a deal between the two organizations will get done before the regular season begins on October 6.
