Las Vegas–Today marked probably the biggest milestone in Golden Knights history since the day the team was officially announced last November of 2016 in front thousands of hockey fans in Vegas at Toshiba Plaza at T-Mobile Arena.

The Vegas Golden Knights organization initially broke ground last October on what is now known to the Vegas hockey community as “City National Arena“. Recently, “City National Bank” won the naming rights for the organization practice facility located in the Summerlin region across from “Red Rock Casino Resort & Spa”.

“City National Arena” consists of two sheets of ice with one of them designated for the Vegas Golden Knights to practice on during off days between games throughout the course of the season while the second sheet is used by the community for ice skaters to hone their skills to local hockey leagues.
