Las Vegas–Tonight, Vegas Golden Knights General Manager George McPhee officially announced the roster going to Colorado to face off against the Avalanche at Pespi Center.

Vegas Golden Knights Roster

Forwards: Pierre-Edouard Bellemare, Erik Haula, Tomas Hyka, Oscar Lindberg, Jonathan Marchessault, David Perron, Teemu Pulkkinen, Vadim Shipachyov, Reilly Smith, Nick Suzuki, Paul Thompson, Alex Tuch

Defensemen: Deryk Engelland, Jason Garrison, Brad Hunt, Jon Merrill, Colin Miller, Luca Sbisa

Goaltenders:  Maxime Lagace, Oscar Dansk

The lineup look is much different than yesterday’s tilt vs. Vancouver as this one, consists of mostly veterans.

Forward Bellemare announced his excitement about playing in tomorrow’s game against the Avalanche on his Twitter account.

Notable’s Heading Into Tomorrow’s Game Vs. Avalanche

This marks the second preseason game for forwards Suzuki, Tuch, and Hyka. All three players scored against the Vancouver Canucks in their 9-4 victory. In that matchup, forward Hyka scored 2 goals, while Suzuki scored once.

Suzuki also registered his 1st assist in preseason action courtesy of Paul Thompson‘s marker.

Tuch also was involved in the scoring in the game vs. Vancouver with a goal of his own.

Defenseman Hunt came away with 3 assists in that game. 2 of his assists came from 2 of Tyler Wong‘s 3 goals in yesterday’s game, while the other assisted Hyka’s 1st in the preseason.

The Vegas Golden Knights went 3 for 9 on the power play in their 9-4 onslaught against the Canucks.

Vegas heads into their 2nd preseason game with a +5 in the goal differential department.

Colorado Avalanche Roster

On the day of the game, the Colorado Avalanche organization released their roster for tonight’s matchup against the Golden Knights.

Forwards: Alexander Kerfoot, Nathan MacKinnon, Miko Rantanen, Andrew Agozzino, J.C. Beaudin, Rocco Grimaldi, Travis Barron, Carl Soderberg, Matt Nieto, Ty Lewis, Dominic Tninato, Gabriel Bourque

Defenseman: Duncan Siemens, Erik Johnson, Mason Geertsen, Conor Timmins, Jared Cowen, Nicholas Meloche

Goaltenders: Spencer Martin, Joe Cannata

Notables For Colorado

The roster mentioned above is the 1st preseason lineup that the Avalanche get to see this year. This matchup against Vegas is their 1st preseason game of the 2017-18 campaign.

For Colorado forward Nieto, this marks his first preseason game with the Avalanche organization. Nieto spent the part of 2013-2017 seasons with the San Jose Sharks franchise.

Puck drop is set for 6 p.m. PT at the Pepsi Center. Golden Knights play-by-play voice Dan D’Uva will provide the radio coverage on Fox Sports 98.9 FM/1340 AM.
