Las Vegas–The UNLV Rebels Hockey Team will take on the University Of Colorado-Boulder at “City National Arena” on Friday at 7:30 pm.

The Skatin Rebels have been practicing at “City National Arena” which serves as the home training facility of the NHL’s Vegas Golden Knights.

They have been on the road the last two games as they played against the Arizona State University Sun Devils Hockey Team. In their short road to Arizona, the Rebels Hockey Team swept the 2-game weekend series by 3-2 and 3-1 final respectively.

On their September 15 game,  Rebels forward Joe Kaszupski recorded his 1st and 2nd goal of the season, while center Jake Saxe scored his 1st of the campaign.

In their 2nd matchup on September 16 against ASU, forward Matthew Painchaud registered his 1st goal of the season while forward Kaszupski pitched in with 2 more goals of his own to bring his campaign total on the year to 4.

Heading into their home opener the Skatin Rebels Hockey Team will complete two historic milestones in their team’s history, one is playing their 1st of two games at their home, “City National Arena” and the 2nd one is playing under the D1 banner in the ACHA Conference.

For Vegas Hockey fans you don’t want to miss their home opener as the Golden Knights in arena ice crew team will be on hand for this historic event.

The Skatin Rebel’s Hockey Team is currently 2-0-0 on the season in the ACHA D1.
