Notables On Coghlan
Coghlan came to camp as an undrafted defenseman after being overlooked in this year’s NHL Entry Draft in Chicago.
According to the scouts, Coghlan was ranked by SI.com at #93 on their final rankings report. This was the second time that he was not selected in an entry draft class (2016 was his 1st).
At 6’3″ and a 190 pounds he’ll need to put some size on that frame as he continues to develop into a future puck moving NHL defenseman as he’s rated being.
