Las Vegas–Earlier today, I caught up with Vegas Golden Knights defenseman Brayden McNabb for a quick chat on how his training camp has been going for him, the transition from Los Angeles, developing chemistry with his fellow blueliners to being impressed with Brad Hunt.

For McNabb is spent last season with the Los Angeles where played in their defensive corp led by Drew Doughty and Alec Martinez. So for him, this is his third training camp in his NHL career.

“It’s been good, it’s a little different training camp than normal, everyone is in the same situation, I feel pretty good it’s a matter of feeling good and getting ready for the regular season.” McNabb said.

McNabb talked about working with his new fellow blueliners and trying to establish that chemistry with the Golden Knights.

“It’s kind of been all over the place, a lot of d, everyone knows the situation so it’s a matter of taking care of your own business, communicating too in practice and in games.” Says McNabb

The former Kings defenseman has been impressed throughout camp of what he has seen in regards to Hunt who currently leads the team in points in the preseason with 6 (1 goal and 5 assists).

“He’s a great player, always has been, he put up very good numbers in the American League, he’s high-end skilled, very good on the power play guy, he’s proven it here and definitely a great camp.” Mentioned McNabb on Hunt’s performance during training camp
