Las Vegas–Tonight Vegas Golden Knights 6th overall selection Cody Glass was in action in the Western Hockey League as the Portland Winterhawks took on the Seattle Thunderbirds at the Moda Center.

In the opening period vs Seattle, Glass opened the scoring at the 11:56 mark of the 1st period from assists by Skyler McKenzie and Matthew Quigley to give the Winterhawks the early 1 goal lead.

It would be his 2nd goal of the young 2017-18 campaign with Portland.

This also put Glass on 2-game goal scoring streak that kicked from his last matchup vs the Everett Silvertips.

Later in the 1st period vs. the Thunderbirds, McKenzie and Glass connected one more time as Skyler made it 2-1 Portland. Glass would record his 3rd assist of the season. This also put Glass on point scoring streak that dated back from last weeks affair against Everett.

The Portland Winterhawks would end up defeating the Seattle Thunderbirds by a 7-2 final.

After the completion of his 2nd game back with Portland for his time with the Vegas Golden Knights organization during training camp practices, Glass’s season total put him at 5 points (2 goals and 3 assists).

With Glasses performance in tonight’s game vs Seattle, he earned 1st star of the game.

In last week’s game vs. the Everett Silvertips, he earned the second star of the game and for the entire Western Hockey League.
