Las Vegas–Tonight, just north of the border Vegas Golden Knights prospects Nicolas Hague and Nick Suzuki squared off for the 1st time since being a prospect member of the franchise.

For defenseman Hague, he is coming off of signing his 1st ever NHL contract with the Golden Knights as he inked a 3-year ELC with the club yesterday.

With Suzuki, he signed his 3-year ELC on the July 15 just after the franchises 1st ever development camp.

Owen Sound Attack played hosts tonight as they welcomed into town the Mississauga Steelheads at the Harry Lumley Bayshore Community Centre.

At the 7:14 mark of the opening period, Owen Sound’s Suzuki registered his 2nd assist of the season and 3rd point of the campaign (1 goal, 2 assists) on Matthew Struthers‘s marker. The score was 1-0 Owen Sound over Mississauga.

Hague had to wait until games final period to record his 2nd point of the season at the 4:11 mark of the 3rd from Shaw Boomhower‘s goal, this made it a 3-2 Attack lead.

At the end of the night, it was Suzuki’s Owen Sound squad that bested Hague’s Steelheads by a 6-4 final.
