Las Vegas–Today the newest member of the Vegas Golden Knights goaltender Malcolm Subban took part in his 1st full practice with his new teammates after being claimed via the waiver wire from the Boston Bruins.
In his short preseason with his former club in Boston, Subban had played in 4 games, 2 of them as starts between the pipes for the Bruins and in that span, he posted a 2-0-0 record. His save percentage was .889 and his GAA was 2.71.
Subban brings with him a 0-2-0 record of regular playing time with a 5.81 GAA and a .727 save percentage.
Originally taken by the Boston Bruins in 2012 NHL Entry at 24th overall.
At least for right now, Subban will be the backup to Marc-André Fleury. Before he arrived in Vegas, it was Calvin Pickard but he was placed on waivers earlier today.
