Las Vegas–Tonight players from the Vegas Golden Knights organization that is currently assigned to the Chicago Wolves hockey club made significant contributions in their 5-2 victory over the LA Kings AHL Affiliate the Ontario Reign in Rosemont, IL.

For defenseman Shea Theodore he entered tonight’s matchup against the Ontario Reign with a 2 game point streak (3 goals and 2 assists in his 2 games vs the Texas Stars).

Like Theodore, forward Teemu Pulkkinen also brought with him in tonight’s affair against Ontario a 2 game point streak (1 goal and 4 assists in his 2 games vs the Texas Stars).

The same went to forward Brandon Pirri who was the recent addition to the Chicago Wolves also entered into tonight’s contest vs. Ontario with a 2 game point streak (2 assists vs both games against Texas).

At the 14:11 mark of the games opening period Golden Knights prospect Alex Tuch scored the 1st goal of the game with assists from Pirri and Pulkkinen.

After the first goal of the game from Tuch and his 4th of the season extended Pirri and Pulkkinen point scoring streak to 3 games.

At the 5:07 mark of the 2nd Theodore earned his 1st assist of the night when forward Paul Thompson scored Chicago’s 2nd of the contest. His marker was assisted by T.J. Tynan.

In the 2nd period with 12:05 remaining in the middle frame Golden Knights prospect Tomas Hyka scored to give Chicago a 3-0 lead over Ontario.

Hyka’s marker was a power play influenced goal which gave Theodore his 2nd point of the game and extending his scoring streak to 3 games while Pulkkinen pitched in for his 2nd of the assist of the night.

At the 15:36 mark of the 2nd period Pirri scored the Wolves 4th goal of the game from a beautiful cross-ice feed from Pulkkinen that made 4-0 Chicago giving the Finnish forward his 3rd assist of the night.

Pulkkinen Connects With Pirri In The 2nd

In the games final period, Pulkkinen netted his 2nd goal of the season and 4th point of the night when he connected with Thompson and gave the Wolves a 3 goal cushion which made the contest 5-2 in favor of Chicago.

The Chicago Wolves 5-2 lead in the 3rd period would hold as they won their 1st game of the 2017-18 season.
