Forward Mika Zibanejad is the Rangers leader in goals with 7 on the season. Their second best scorer on the team is Pavel Buchnevich with 4 goals.

Their top 3 players with assists currently on the year are forward J.T. Miller with 8, in his first season with the Blueshirts is defenseman Kevin Shattenkirk 7, and veteran Rangers Mats Zuccarello at 6.

Both Zibanejad and Miller are the Rangers co-leaders in points with 10 on the season.

New York Rangers Goaltending Woes

Between the pipes for the Rangers is veteran goaltender a 2011-12 Vezina Trophy Winner Lundqvist.

Lundqvist is having himself a less than a stellar year backstopping the Rangers with a 2-4-0-2 record and has recorded a 3.11 GAA and a .900 save percentage which is his worse career numbers to date since being a member of the Blueshirts.

Their backup netminder Ondrej Pavelec is also having himself a below average year with the Rangers and posted a 1-3-0 record and a GAA of 3.64 with a .887 save percentage.

James Neal is still the team’s leader in goals this season with 7 and Oscar Lindberg is in 2nd place with 4.

For Lindberg, this is first is his time being back to “Madison Square Garden” since being picked up in the Vegas Draft from the past June.

The team also has a three-way for 3rd place in assists with forwards Reilly Smith and Cody Eakin along with defensemen’s Nate Schmidt and Colin Miller with 5.

Neal still holds the line with the Golden Knights in points with 10, while Perron, Miller, Hunt, and Smith have 7.

With Oscar Dansk injured from last night game against the New York Islanders, it’s looking like Maxime Lagace will be making his first NHL start between the pipes for the Golden Knights tonight while Dylan Ferguson will serve as his backup.

The Golden Knights has recalled goaltender Ferguson on an emergency basis from the Kamloops Blazers of the Western Hockey League. Ferguson is expected to join the team for their game at the New York Rangers on Tuesday at 4 p.m. PT.
