Las Vegas– As the Skatin Rebels rank as #12 in the ACHA, the team heads to T-Mobile Arena, home of the Vegas Golden Knights, to take on the Midland Warriors.

The first period really showed off how good both teams are on defense. As both goalies were able to block the shots, Alex Feese fell short as the Warriors score their first goal. The period trailed on and Forward Tristan Mayer was able to put a goal in with less than seven minutes left in the period. JonasGordon scored the second goal for the Rebels, putting them in the lead as we go into the second period.

The Skatin Rebels started the second period with some 4 on 4 action and then it turned into a 5 on 3 power play in favor of the Rebels. The Rebels spent a lot of time in the box during the second, giving the Warriors an advantage but Jake Saxe was able to pass through and score the third goal for the Rebels.

Going into the final period, the Skatin Rebels lead 3 to 1. Midland got a penalty for tripping, putting the Rebels on the power play. Amidst all the penalties, Jonas Gordon was able to score a goal for the Rebels. Shortly after the last goal, JonahPearson scored the Rebels fifth goal. As the period winded down, the Skatin Rebels came out victorious against the Midland Warriors. Although the Warriors put up a good fight, the Rebels just wanted the win more. The final score at T-Mobile Arena was 5 to 1.

Jonas Gordon was really excited for the change of scenery playing in T-Mobile Arena tonight. The team seemed to adjust pretty quickly in the game. He said throughout the game the team got practice with the special units going into the playoffs.
