Las Vegas–With the NHL Trade Deadline now in the past and the focus on the final push for the regular season commences, here is some of the shining moments in Tomas Tatar‘s career.

For Vegas Golden Knights fans we found some of those moments for you on the newest member of the franchise.

In a hockey players career scoring your first NHL goal will always be one of the top moments in their lives and for Tatar he did that back on New Years Eve 2011 against the New York Islanders.

Darren Helm had the initial shot but Tatar managed to make contact with the puck with the rear of his stick where it went past Dwayne Roloson that tied up game at 3-3 in the 3rd period of the game.

When it comes to family nothing is more special then scoring a goal in honor of their memory. Tatar played in a game against the Kings the day after his dad passed away scored the game winner with relative ease on LA’s Jonathan Quick and after he knotted the special goal he pointed up to roof to say this one’s was for you dad.

Scoring your first overtime goal is also something to remember and for Tatar he made this look real good against the Ottawa Senators, his beautiful 1 on 0 breakaway marker beat goaltender Craig Andersen on the short side and gave his then Red Wings the 4-3 victory.

Earlier in the season the Golden Knights had the pleasure in witnessing the first ever career hat trick of William Karlsson‘s career and in franchise history. Well that happened for Tatar last season when he completed that accomplishment vs. the Anaheim Ducks at Joe Louis Arena in front of roughly 20,000 Red Wings fans.

For Golden Knights fans this Houdini type goal is a must see that fools San Jose Sharks goaltender Martin Jones as he tried to poke check Tatar off the puck.
