Las Vegas–The Vegas Golden Knights have added another player to their lineup ahead of the 2018-19 season in forward Daniel Carr.

Pierre LeBrun of TSN reported on his Twitter page today that Carr signed on with the Golden Knights to a one year contract worth $750,000.

Carr spent the last season playing in the NHL and in the minors with the Montréal Canadiens organization. In his 38 games with the Canadiens, Carr produced six goals, recorded 10 assists for 16 points and was +2.

With Laval Rocket, Carr recorded 11 goals, eight assists for 18 points and finished his time in the American League with a -3 last season.

The signing of Carr could mean that the Golden Knights are looking at replacing Tomas Nosek and William Carrier as they have yet to sign their qualifying offers that General Manager George McPhee tendered last week.
