Las Vegas–Today the American Hockey League released the schedules of their members franchises for the 2018-19 season, for the Vegas Golden Knights affiliate the Chicago Wolves, they are celebrating their 25th Anniversary campaign.
Going into the 2018-19 season marks the second year in their relationship with the Golden Knights.
For their 25th Anniversary season, the Chicago Wolves will open up the 2018-19 campaign on the road October 5, in Loveland, Colorado where they will take on the Colorado Eagles.
The Eagles are affiliated with the NHL’s Colorado Avalanche and are the newest member franchise in the AHL as the 31st hockey team in the league. For the Eagles, this will be their first ever season in the AHL as they most recently played in the ECHL.
Eight days later, the Wolves home opener on October 13 is where they host their Central Division rival Grand Rapid Griffins at Allstate Arena. For their 25th Anniversary season, the Wolves play on Saturday 16 times over the course of the campaign.
In this seasons schedule, the Chicago Wolves will be playing most of their 38 home games on the weekends (Friday thru Sunday) that marks 32 of them. Six of their home games will be played midweek.
With back-to-back divisional crowns, the Wolves look to get their third in a row.
In addition to keeping things traditional, the Chicago Wolves for the 18th straight hockey campaign will be televising most of their home games on CW50 with their “Saturday Night with the Wolves” broadcast as well as on The U Too Network for the seventh consecutive season.
The television broadcasting schedule will be made available at a later date.
These games are a perfect opportunity for families to enjoy family nights with the Wolves.
