Las Vegas–Today the Golden Knights along with The D Las Vegas made a historic announcement on the Lil’ Knights program that will be made available at rinks across the valley.
The rink locations around the city are “City National Arena”, “Las Vegas Ice Center”, and “Sobe Arena” will be the participating facilities that will offer the “Lil’ Knights” youth hockey program.
This program will be funded by The D Las Vegas is a five year venture initiative for the cross-ice development program that focuses on individual skills and team elements of hockey. The length of the program itself is eight weeks total and costs $265.00.
The goal of the program is to act as that final step in the youth hockey development journey pyramid prior to becoming a member of the “In-House/House League” program and in conjunction with the completion of both Learn to Skate and Learn to Play programs.

With this joint venture, The D Las Vegas will be supplying every kid with a “Lil’ Knights” program branded jersey.
Derek Stevens who is the CEO of The D Las Vegas is a major supporter of the Golden Knights, a long time hockey fan, and loves the game with a passion.
“Thanks to the Lil’ Knights, kids as young as four are quickly falling in love with hockey.” Says Stevens
“Being part of the team’s historic inaugural season was an incredible honor, and we’re excited to continue to find new ways to invigorate Southern Nevada’s youth and invest in the city’s passion for the Vegas Golden Knights.” Stevens concluded.
This just adds to the commitment that Stevens has made with the Golden Knights. Last year he embarked on a six year promotional partnership with the hockey team making The D Las Vegas the exclusive downtown spot for VGK fanfests, watch parties, and merchandise.
